What is particular about selling in Baar?
The sale contract for a property in Baar is notarised by the municipal clerk’s office of Baar (Gemeindeschreiberei Baar). In the Canton of Zug the municipal clerks are responsible for contracts concerning land in their own municipality (§ 4 para. 2 Notarisation Act, BGS 223.1); lawyers may not notarise land sale contracts (§ 7 para. 2). The draft contract and the appointment therefore run through the municipality, whichever office you engage.

How do you choose the right agent in Baar?
